Asrar-ul-Haq Majaz (اسرار الحق مجاز), better known as Majaz Lakhnavi (مجاز لکھنوی), was one of the most prominent Urdu poets of the 20th century. He is widely celebrated for blending romanticism with revolutionary and progressive themes, often earning comparisons to the English Romantic poet John Keats—hence sometimes called the “Keats of Urdu poetry.”
